Dear AMGO Members and Colleagues, It is with great excitement that I announce the opening of our 2025 Annual Conference in the beautiful city of Santa Fe, New Mexico! This year’s conference will take place from September 21–24, 2025, at the Hotel Santa Fe, a beautiful venue renowned for its celebration of cultural heritage and Native American ownership. The hotel offers stunning Southwestern suite-style rooms and a full-service spa. I think it will be an ideal setting for both relaxation and professional growth. The theme for this year’s conference is “From Strength to Success: Achieving Wellness, Financial, and Operational Excellence in Ob/Gyn.” As healthcare leaders in Obstetrics and Gynecology, we are continually working toward enhancing our practices while promoting wellness within our teams and our communities. We have lined up exceptional speakers that will provide you with the tools and knowledge to elevate your leadership, improve operational efficiency, and foster a culture of success in your practice. We are thrilled to have Aashi Arora, an executive coach with extensive experience in leadership and team development, as our keynote speaker. Included in the conference registration is a CliftonStrengths assessment which will enable to Aashi to share personalized insights on building high-performing teams, navigating imposter syndrome, and preventing burnout—critical topics that affect many of us in our healthcare leadership roles. In addition, we have sessions focusing on relevant specialty clinics such as Menopause, Women’s Reproductive Behavioral Health, and Pregnancy Loss. We also have a session highlighting one AMC’s partnership with US Fertility. Lastly, we are excited to be offering sessions on coding and billing practices; ultrasound productivity; and strategies for employee engagement and retention. Our conference will offer a variety of engaging activities to foster networking and personal connections. We will kick off the event with an Opening Ice Breaker Activity at Santa Fe School of Cooking to allow all attendees to connect in a fun and informal setting. New attendees will be invited to a New Attendee Welcome Gathering to make sure you feel at home. Additionally, we will host a hospitality suite each night, where you can socialize, relax, and share experiences with fellow members. We are also thrilled to offer a special Santa Fe-specific activity with a sunset ride on the Sky Railway! This is a unique opportunity to see the beautiful desert landscapes and mountain views while enjoying live entertainment and mingling with your AMGO colleagues. Afterward, we will top things off with a gathering for our President’s Dinner. Whether you’re a foodie, history enthusiast, art lover, or outdoor adventurer, Santa Fe has something for everyone, and we are excited to immerse ourselves in its rich culture and history and explore this amazing city together. In addition to the opening of our 49th annual conference, I am proud to announce that AMGO has already added 20 new members this year! I feel that this growth speaks to the relevance of our mission of building a community of Ob/Gyn managers and leaders with whom to network, learn and grow.
