Gail retired in 2022 from the University of Minnesota, where she had served as the Department Administrator for the Department of OB/GYN & Women's Health. As part of her role, Gail provided strategic & operational management and oversight of clinical services, research, and graduate medical education programs in the department. Prior to UMN, she was the Clinic Director for La Clinica, the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Minnesota. As an entrepreneurial-minded leader, Gail has more than three decades of leading start-up businesses within healthcare, literacy and retail sectors. Throughout her career, Gail has pursued leadership roles in industries aligned with her passions and interests. After working for Planned Parenthood of Utah, she was named Regional Director and directed the launch of the first Planned Parenthood clinics in South Dakota. Her business skills were then transferred to the book industry, where she managed the opening of the first Barnes & Noble superstore in South Dakota. As a result of her success at B&N, she was recruited to manage the 14th largest B&N superstore (600+) in the country in Edina, MN. Later, she joined Scholastic Book Fairs (publisher of Harry Potter series) where she opened the Heartland Region, a new seven-state region based in Minneapolis, MN. As a graduate of the University of Utah and the University of South Dakota, she holds a Master of Science and a B.S.in Healthcare Administration and Health Education. Linkedin
Victor is the Senior Administrator for the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health and has worked for the department for 6 years. In his position, Victor manages the department's clinical practice extending to multiple locations and contracts; coordinates with departmental faculty and clinical support staff and with directors/managers of billing to ensure optimum billing, collections, and practice management performance and coordinates department-wide initiatives designed to increase efficiencies administratively, clinically, and financially at Rutgers and University Hospital. Victor has worked at Rutgers University since 1999 and with the medical school since 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Rutgers University, and Masters Degree in Business Administration from Montclair University. Victor has been a proud member of AMGO since 2019 and has served on the annual conference committee for two years prior to being voted AMGO Board of Directors Secretary for the 2022 thru 2024.
Jody is the Vice Chair for Finance and Administration for the Department of Ob/Gyn at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has been serving in her current position for seven years where she develops and manages the department’s budget and financial operations, oversees the administrative aspects of the clinical, education, and research programs, as well as facilitating strategic planning and business development activities of the department. She has worked in the Ob/Gyn Department for 23 years, where she also held management positions in Coding/Compliance, Revenue Cycle and Clinical Operations. Prior to MUSC, she worked with several Healthcare Practice Management and Consulting firms in various roles in Revenue Cycle Management and Practice Management for Ancillary Service clients. She has enjoyed being an AMGO member since 2015, serving on the annual conference’s program committee for two years and co-chairing the 2019 conference committee. She has been serving on the AMGO Board of Directors as Secretary since Spring 2019. |
