Dale Geerdes When I first accepted the admin role at University of Iowa Department of OBGYN, I realized very quickly that success would require establishing key relationships. Those relationships included Hospital leadership, College of Medicine leadership and community leadership. When I first became aware of AMGO, I viewed the annual conference trip as a fun business travel perk. My first conference was in Jackson Hole, WY. The conference was amazing... | ![]() Jody Yeh I am a proud member of AMGO and currently serve as President on the Board of Directors (BOD). I joined AMGO for the professional networking opportunities, but the organization has proved to be much more than just networking. AMGO provides valuable resources for staying informed about best practices and industry trends, and it encourages members to step outside their comfort zones. | ![]() Kristin Rosato I first learned of AMGO from a predecessor at Stony Brook Medicine, who told me that of all of the professional meetings she had attended, AMGO was the most beneficial. When I attended my first AMGO meeting in Nashville in 2024, I immediately understood her comment. It was so refreshing to find myself in a room full of people who “get” my job and who appreciate the full scope of responsibilities and challenges facing OB/GYN Administrators today.
| ![]() Mary Porter As a new Division Administrator, joining AMGO offered great benefits. It provided me with an opportunity to connect with a diverse network of professionals in the field and offered a platform for insights into best practices and resources specifically tailored to the needs of OB/GYN administrators, which helped me tremendously. I look forward to continued mentorship and growth within the organization. |
